Phil joined PEM Corporate Finance in 2017 after 12 years in corporate finance advisory services. He was made partner in 2021, and appointed our head of our Corporate Finance in 2022.
Day-to-day he advises shareholders on the sale of their businesses and assists acquirers with the identification and purchase of suitable acquisition targets.
He also delivers exit strategy reviews, advises on management buy-outs, and oversees the drafting of independent 3rd party valuation and financial due diligence reports.
He holds both the ICAEW corporate finance qualification and a “triple crown” accredited MBA from the University of Bradford. He’s also a full member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.
In 2021 he was awarded “dealmaker of the year” at the Insider Central & East of England dealmaker awards. He was also shortlisted for the award in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Outside of work, most of Phil’s spare time is spent either with his wife and three young children or serving in his local church. Additionally, he enjoys most sports and loves music, food, and films.
