John qualified in 1998 and trained at a small 5 partner firm in Stirling, after which he moved to Scott-Moncrieff in Glasgow for 4 years. In 2002 he moved to Cambridge, working for PEM as Assistant Manager then to Senior Manager. John then moved to Grant Thornton UK LLP in 2014 in order to experience large group and AIM listed audits and to experience the working environment, pressure and increased expectation levels associated with working in such an environment and client base.
I have worked on a large spectrum from small accounts preparations all the way up to complex groups and AIM listed audits. I prefer working on bio-techs and enjoy NFP and Cambridge Colleges from my first stint at PEM.
Outside of work John enjoys listening to music and buying records.
