PEM Team Donate 45 Gifts to Break Charity this Christmas.

This December, we asked staff and partners at PEM to buy a gift for a young person in Cambridgeshire, who otherwise might not get one.

Break charity support children in care and care leavers aged 7-18 across East Anglia where they provide a home environment for young people who can’t live with their own families, as well as continuing to support those who transition from these homes to living independently.

Break donation from PEM team

We are pleased to announce that we donated 45 gifts to Break, including an Amazon speaker, perfumes, gift cards, an air fryer and more!

Sarah Bunn, Fundraising Manager at Break commented, “Break works tirelessly to change the lives of care experienced young people.  From children’s homes to support for those leaving care post-18, Break is there for these young people when they need them, for as long as they need them to be.  Christmas is one of the hardest times for care leavers, so our aim is to bring smiles to their faces and give them new positive memories to carry forward. The gifts donated by staff at PEM will make a huge difference to the young people we support. We were totally blown away by the support, thank you so much.”

We also supported Break with a donation of 5 laptops, £106 through a hamper raffle from our VFO team and we are planning a visit from their coffee van in 2025, which helps give young people valuable work experience.

If you know of a local cause or charity you think would benefit from our support, please contact us or visit our PEM Charitable Trust page for more information.
