A team of five staff from PEM will be sleeping out for one night on the 6th October 2017 to raise money and awareness for the charity Action for Children which supports vulnerable children and young people throughout the UK.
Byte Night will be held at the Botanical Gardens in Cambridge while simultaneous events take place in cities across the UK. Byte Night works to help some of the 80,000 young people who sleep rough in the UK every year. These people struggle to find shelter every night of the year. The event encourages people to spend a night outside, to support the issue of youth homelessness.
Phillip Olagunju, Assistant Director of PEM Corporate Finance said:
“Homelessness and caring for children are issues that are very close to my heart. So when I discovered that PEM are once again supporting the great work that Action for Children does in helping thousands of displaced kids every year, I simply had to get involved – sleeping rough for one night is the least I can do. Along with my colleagues, we’re all looking forward to raising as much awareness and money as possible for this fantastic cause.”
