PEM, Cambridge’s largest independent firm of accountants, tax and business advisers, have donated £500 to Switch Now on behalf of The PEM Charitable Trust.
To fundraise for the PEM Charitable Trust, over 30 members of PEM staff undertook the ‘Three Piers Challenge’ in September by walking 53 miles from Bognor Regis Pier to Eastbourne Pier over just 2 days!
Switch Now are a local community and non-for-profit business who aims to provide supported training and work experience for young adults with learning difficulties/disabilities to develop employability skills with the objective of becoming ‘work ready’.
On the donation, Catherine Fairholm, Director of Switch Now has said:
“Switch Now are delighted to have been nominated as one of PEM’s Charities to raise funds for this year.
We would like to say a huge thank you for the donation, which will help Switch Now in their training of young people with learning difficulties / disabilities, to enable them to progress towards work and a more fulfilled future.”
